Debit card- Transaction amounts were slightly lesser than those of the credit card transaction amounts. The amount transacted through debit cards increased by Rs 1,059 crore
Credit card - credit card usage increased by 13% Y-o-Y, standing at 18,98,490K in 2019. Spends for 2019 stood at ₹6,51,368 crores as of Nov 2019, having grown with a CAGR of 32% in the last 8 years. Unified Payments Interface
(UPI) - UPI saw an extensive growth of 191% in the total transaction volume, taking its number to 10,788 million in 2019 from 3,708 million in 2018, according to data published by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI).
