PROJECT OVERVIEW
Project: Accion Employee Dashboard.
Goal: To design a centralized, personalized digital hub for employees.
Hypothesized Problem: In a typical organization, an employee's digital tools are fragmented. Information for HR (leave), IT (helpdesk), L&D (training), and internal communications (news) all live in separate, siloed systems. This creates friction, wastes time, and leads to a disconnected employee experience.
The Solution: The "Accion Circle" dashboard aims to solve this by aggregating all essential employee information and tasks into a single, scannable, and engaging interface.
PERSONA / TARGET AUDIENCE
The primary audience is any employee at "Accion." Based on the on-screen data, we can build a specific persona.

INFORMATION / DESIGN ARCHITURE
The dashboard utilizes a three-column layout, a classic and effective pattern for information-dense interfaces. The IA is logically grouped by user context:

-
Column 1: The "Personal" Column
-
Focus: "Everything about Me." This column contains all of the user's personal administrative data and tasks.
-
Modules: User Profile & Stats, Quick CTAs (Timesheet, Leave), Attendance & Leaves, Helpdesk Tickets, Holidays List.
-
-
Column 2: The "Community" Column
-
Focus: "Everything about Us." This column fosters culture and connection.
-
Modules: Accion Buzz (Company News), Accion Birthdays (Social), Accion University (L&D).
-
-
Column 3: The "Opportunity" Column
-
Focus: "Everything about My Future." This column is forward-looking, focusing on growth and external context.
-
Modules: Accion Careers (Internal Mobility), Latest Tech News (Industry Context).
-
DESIGN OVERVIEW
-
Design Method: Minimalist Design ample whitespace and a card-based layout make each module distinct and easy to digest. The color palette is professional, using blue as a primary action color and accents (green, orange) for status.
 -
Task-Oriented Prioritization: The two most common, high-frequency tasks—Timesheet and Apply Leave—are given the highest visual priority as solid, colored buttons, placed "above the fold" in the user's personal column.
 -
Culture & Engagement: The Accion Birthdays module is a strong feature. It's not just informational; it's actionable with the Send Wishes CTA, which actively encourages social interaction. Accion Buzz also helps employees feel connected to company-wide news.
